The Chong Laboratory is proud to be a recipient of a Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) 2020 Stem Cell Mission grant totalling $4.9 million!

Associate Professor James Chong was awarded the whopping $4.9 million dollar grant for induced pluripotent stem cell derived cardiomyocytes: a new therapy for no-option end stage heart failure.

The outcome of this research could potentially generate a treatment for chronic heart failure, which could help patients prevent loss of quality of life, expensive drug costs, hospital readmissions, and loss of life.
